Mercedes-Benz introduces electric delivery vans, with an app, in Germany

Mercedes-Benz has made a commitment to offering a full range of electric commercial vehicles from minivans to semi-trucks. The eVito is an electric version of the minivan known as the Metris in the United States. The electric version is available in both long and short wheelbase models for maximum flexibility for customers and can carry 2,310 pounds of cargo. The next electric commercial vehicle in Mercedes's lineup will be an electric version of its larger and more popular Sprinter vans, the eSprinter, which will debut next year.
