Authorities look for Mercedes Benz sport utility car driver who fled from deputy in Rancho Cucamonga
Sheriff's deputies in Rancho Cucamonga are looking for data about the driver of a Mercedes Benz who ran a red-light, fled from deputies & later struck a parked vehicle. A deputy tried to stop a silver, older model Mercedes sport utility vehicle by paper plates after it ran a red-light at Arrow Route & Vineyard Avenue at four:25 p.m. Sunday, according to a San Bernardino province sheriff's break news release. The male driver of the Mercedes didn't stop for the deputy, fled west on Arrow Route at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour & entered Upland. Later, a man called Upland police to report the suspicious Mercedes sideswiped his parked vehicle.
